FREE Christmas Stories Advent Resources Pack
Ahead of this Advent season, Open the Bible has produced a pack of free easy-to-use resources to help you plan your Advent and Christmas season.
The following resources are based around Colin Smith’s short book, Christmas Stories, retelling the Christmas story from the perspective of five biblical characters – the angel Gabriel, Mary, Joseph, Simeon and Herod!
John (our Exec. Director), shares how to get the most from these resources:
- Advent sermon series example transcripts – extended versions of the five stories
- Advent Bible study guide – based around the biblical nativity passages and the book
- Live Nativity script – to help you put on a simple indoor or outdoor nativity, requiring only ‘Mary’ (as narrator) to speak (but with the option of other speaking parts)
- Customisable artwork – to help you publicise the event (fliers, posters, website, social media)
